durinnI’d say, because of/thanks to the intricate pattern, which also contains multiple colors, it does work great on its own too. :) However! From a distance, it could give a dark-ish impression, so how about giving it some “accent” with a colorful - single color, mind you - accessory? A belt, a ribbon, a choker (yes, I’m from that era :D)? I’m a sucker for red ribbons myself. 😆
I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy a choker, so I might go for one this weekend, thanks 😊
That neckline is begging for a statement necklace. Either a simple pendant, or a chunky necklace that comes to a point, so it’s less like an empty picture frame.
Uhh I like chunky things, I’ll look for a chunky necklace next time I go thrifting

Im surprised this dress doesnt have one because alot of mine like this have it, but a ribbon/cord of some kind! Think like a robe ribbon, but for a dress. You tie it right under bust and make a pretty bow and it helps give the dress a more flattering shape.
Although no shade to you, it looks amazing as is girl!
Also like someone else said, getchu some cheap necklaces from wherever you prefer to shop. Its like a cheat code. I have several lol
