Yesterday my daughter was free and we went out for Chinese takeout and I let her pick a movie to watch on Netflix. We saw Venom: The Last Dance. I had no expectations, but I was fond of the other 2 and I like Tom Hardy, so how bad could it be? As trilogies go, I thought it was pretty solid. It wrapped up the Venom arc quite nicely and gave more lore about the symbiotes. I laughed at the funny bits and was overall entertained. I liked it. Gotta say that the designers did a nice job at venomfying all sort of animals for the credits sequence. That was equal parts fascinating and disturbing. The designs for the symbiote hunters called xenophages looked like proper nightmare fuel. I would've preferred to watch a cute anime, but I'm just glad to spend quality time with the kiddo. #recentlywatched
