Organizational rules that need to be observed more rigorously: If we have multiple types of governing documents, clearly define their order of precedence to avoid conflict. If a new document supersedes another, mark the old document as historic, indicate the document that supersedes it, and reference the old document in the new one. (A list of specific changes would be absolutely wonderful.) If a document is old, it’s still valid if nothing has replaced it. Lastly, if we’re being told that something is policy and a reference can’t be cited, it’s unsubstantiated opinion until it can. #Policy #Governance #Documentation
