@jplebreton A long time ago, I befriended a guy on a gaming platform. He was very secretive of his RL identity, and after long nights of discussions and trust level-ups, I managed to put together the fact that he was John Carmack's brother. Which he did not deny, and I have no reason to believe he lied to me.

Well he had no lost love for his brother. He didn't tell me any details, but it seems that in private, with his family, John was always an asshole. So unfortunately, this tracks, and he's not one of the heroes I had to kill.
