MikeI'm not a part of the ATProto vs Fediverse back and forth, I think they're both incredible technology that can offer a way forward for social media, but the Fediverse does win out when there's downtime. It's one instance being down vs the entire main app being down.
I'm sure that comes with tradeoffs, but I don't know enough to know what those are.
