I take flaky as a compliment, because I love Croissants.
@RickiTarr you have so many buttery layers ❤️

@RickiTarr

definitely a compliment.

@uc @RickiTarr
Thought emerges:
A flake filled croissant 🤤.

Flakey's good 👍.

@Soldusty

that may create a flakey singularity.

It would be bad.

I'm fuzzy on the whole good/bad thing. What do you mean, "bad"?

Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.

Total protonic reversal.

Right. That's bad. Okay. All right. Important safety tip.

@uc @RickiTarr

@amiserabilist @uc @RickiTarr
You mean when a flake & an anti-flake come into contact, it starts the near instantaneous chain reaction that unzips all things back to electron soup?

This isn't that, this is flake up quarks sandwiched between two layers of flake down quarks.

@Soldusty

i stand corrected.

enjoy your flake filled croissant.

*pulls duvet over head waiting for the explosion*

@uc @RickiTarr

@amiserabilist
Hmm... Flake up quarks & flake down quarks added to shopping list.

@uc @RickiTarr

@amiserabilist @Soldusty @RickiTarr

I don't want to throw a breath of reality at anyone, but chocolate croissants are definitely a thing over here.... and the quantum explosions are across the mind and taste buds, bodies remain intact.

@uc

but is it flakey chocolate?

i feel at least CERN should be cc'd into this discussion.

@Soldusty @geant

@amiserabilist @uc @geant
Ooh! Hey CERN!
Can we borrow the LHC?... We need to throw a croissant & a large flake together.

@uc @amiserabilist @RickiTarr
Yes but have you noticed with store bought ones, they only put a fraction of the chocolate required for a full reaction to take place?

I intend to do a proper experiment once a supply run has been done.

@Soldusty @amiserabilist @RickiTarr

Which is why I don't buy them in stores. Cafe Creme and a chocolate croissant in a bakery. You know it makes sense.

@uc @amiserabilist @RickiTarr
Alas, no Cafe Creme in the UK or if there are, they be far from where I am & the local bakery/ies are also stingy with the chocolate if the do chocolate croissants.
@RickiTarr Mmm, croissants...
@RickiTarr When I worked at a seafood grill, a coworker would describe one fish as "white and flaky, like me!"
