@yax @sgtpepere No, you've been thoroughly mislead about what both GrapheneOS and /e/ provide by Murena. You're demonstrating how much they've misled people about GrapheneOS, particularly in France.

GrapheneOS is a privacy project providing major privacy enhancements not present in /e/. /e/ is a huge downgrade from the privacy of the Android Open Source Project due to not keeping up with privacy patches/protections along with atrocious security. /e/ is also hardly degoogled as they claim.

@yax @sgtpepere GrapheneOS doesn't connect to any Google servers or other third party servers by default. /e/ connects to many Google servers and other third party servers by default. /e/ builds in highly privileged access for Google apps and services which for the most part is always granted to them. GrapheneOS doesn't do that but rather Google apps can only run as regular sandboxed apps and a few very specific things such as ICC authentication have a toggle to grant the narrow access to it.
@yax @sgtpepere GrapheneOS is a highly usable OS with far broader app compatibility than /e/. GrapheneOS is intended for everyone and is not a niche project only for a tiny subset of people. Gaël Duval repeatedly claims having serious privacy and security protecting users from privacy and security exploits is for pedophiles, criminals and spies. These are the statements of an authoritarian who is against people having privacy against surveillance. /e/is a trojan horse and is harming privacy.

@GrapheneOS @yax @sgtpepere

I've been a GrapheneOS user on and off for years, but at this point all my phones are on GrapheneOS and I will never go back ever again.

I'd rather throw my phone into a river than using stock android.

@panda @GrapheneOS @yax @sgtpepere Waiting eagerly for that first #GrapheneOS #Motorola 😍

(The battery on my Pixel is slowly dying and I don't want to buy another Pixel...)
