Shout out to Cincinnati Curling Club - sh.itjust.works

Just want to say this place and the people are really cool. Went recently with a group for an outing. 1. Had no idea there was a curling club in the metro to begin with so that’s cool. 2. All the people there were really cool and welcoming. They walked us through how to play (and safely) and were very helpful. Didn’t matter if you had issues getting going or doing any of the “jobs”- they were there to help and make sure everyone had a good time. 3. They actually have leagues and all that too if you want to keep doing it. Not a part of their org but could honestly see myself doing some kind of league in the future. It’s all non-profit so I think it all just goes to grow the sport and such in the region. Really nondescript location out in the middle of nowhere West Chester (reminds me of driving to Dogberry honestly) but ran by great people with a lot of enthusiasm for the project. Highly recommend for a fun outing with like your work people or just a group of friends. I did not set it up (only attended) so couldn’t tell you about setting it up but I’m sure they’re easy to call/email and get it going. Link is in the post title.
