Can someone let the poor puppy in out of the rain? Wait, what?

@danmccullough Do you often get bears on your trail cams?
@Sarah111well Between April and October. They tend to visit in spurts. Like they’re cycling through their territory. Or if some misguided neighbor leaves their feeders up the whole year. At the most I could have 3-4 videos some weeks, and then nothing for a month or so.
@danmccullough From the UK that seems outlandishly impressive. My Lovely Daughter has encountered bears a handful of times in Canada.
@Sarah111well I’m fortunate to live in an area where there are lots of adjoining wooded conservation areas so the bears have room to roam.

@danmccullough

Are not they dangerous to encounter ?

@Sarah111well

@tanavit @Sarah111well Black bears tend not to be aggressive (though I wouldn’t want to be anywhere around if Mom was with cubs). In my 7 years we’ve encountered* 2 while outside. Both seemed curious but really couldn’t be bothered to shift their attention away from what they were doing, which was lumbering away. (And when I say encountered, in both cases they were several hundreds of feet away.)
