@jimmyd2 5 episodes in and it is sufficiently weird. As it's a direct continuation from season 2, it's got this amalgamation of old and new that probably helps the overall feel of it being Twin Peaks. I was hooked by episode 2. The cinematography is top notch and the acting is just as awkward as the original seasons. Same actors, same characters, just 25 years older. From what I've seen, I'd say it's worth your time. I have many episodes to go though.
