My desk isn't super deep (or wide, really) so this placement was the reason I made the thing in the first place.

Jinhao 10 retractable (like a Pilot Vanishing Point but significantly more affordable, if not quite as reliable due to the seal) in blue (inked with Diamine Sherwood green)
Montblanc 221 (I got this cheap at a thrift store and the window is slightly leaky but it writes pretty nice if you hold it carefully 😂) inked with Waterman tender purple.
Lamy 2000 (this was my first, and so far only "expensive fancy pen" purchase) it's inked with a blend of Sherwood green and carbon black for documents. I got it and the Lamy 2000 mechanical pencil (.5mm) as my 40th birthday gift to myself.
A .3mm Pentel Graphgear 1000 I've had since college
