@mattblaze I just started reading Zinn's People's History of the United States, and he starts by describing Columbus showing up in the Americas, meeting all these kind, generous people. And of course he immediately decided they would make dandy slaves. It gets worse from there. So much worse. We descendants of those European sailors haven't changed a goddamn bit. We haven't learned a thing.
