we should have a physical ranged dps that uses garlean gunblades, the ones that are actually guns with blades. of course it should share xp and a few weapons with gunbreaker, but have its own soul crystal.

the summoner/scholar fork causes so much trouble, they should do it again

naturally the job mentor is gaius, and the weaponskill unlocked in the last job quest (or maybe the lb3) is terminus est

@ruwuby what happens if you unlock the job before 4.5 MSQ (or even before finishing 2.0 MSQ, I guess, lol)?

@slab @ruwuby well if it shares xp with gunbreaker that's fine, since it doesn't unlock until level 60 — maybe just have the mentor not show their face until after that particular reveal already happens in msq
