2/2 And guess what? This is what the New York Times did: they just deleted Trump's “open the fuckin’ strait” line, to make him look less insane and rewrote his post, protecting Trump via textbook sanewashing.

After that, they realised that even for the NYT that was a bit rich, so they changed the article, included Trump's full post without explaining why it wasn't in the first place.
