Jim BlimeyForgot to show off the latest bits and bobs to the BBS game on stream last night, but there has been lots of work done on mining, crafting and UI. Tonight I am swinging back round to ship systems including base types - its all good fun!
Ellyse@jimblimey it runs on modern pc but playable via 8bit BBS connection ? sorry not up to date
@ellyxir Yeah, basically a TCP server any machine can connect to (including any 8 bit with the right hardware). Going for the classic 40 column look where ANSI is optional for full compatibility.

@ellyxir Ha! I have pondered the idea of a virtual number to dial into with a modem.. Havent looked into it, but my feeling is its something doable.
@jimblimey love it, i wonder how that could possibly work tho. on the modern PC side i can imagine that working somehow ? some voip thing. but on the 8bit, you’d need like one of those phone couplers or something. i don’t think modems work anymore on these lines. oh or maybe some rpi that adapts a modem to the internet ? lol that’s a lot of work when you can just hook up wifi directly
