Ponds are magic. We now enjoy the songs of 8 different amphibians throughout the warm season. The birds & bees LOVE it.
Build it & they will come! 😉 (it's an orgiastic mating frenzy, especially the toads!)

@KeithDJohnson The build is so much more than just the pond. As outlined in the preceding thread, it's surrounded by bee banks, bee posts and a variety of micro habitats.

I have planted 1000s of trees, woody shrubs, and very complex polyculture guilds of food, fodder, fungi, forage, forest species. You're speaking a language I've practiced for 70 years.
