the closer they get to the moon, the more powerful my budget microwave becomes… i think it's that exercise machine they're using, gigawatts fer sure (◕‿◕)

(☉。☉) alt-vanlife must have a thread covering toilet errors that might cross-reference with alt-space toilets…
NASA Achieves Water Recovery Milestone on International Space Station - NASA

Station's Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) recently achieved the 98% water recovery goal

Jeremy Hansen spent some time just now catching up with Canadian students on earth… 🇨🇦
Skakedown cruise: Upcoming warming of wastewater system using donations from crew because hot water would be different "chemistry"…
the moment: all humans have their heads down and butts in the air… no idea how they keep track of items once unpacked… tiniest squad bay imaginable…
feels: a teenager again… america at war and humans floating toward the moon… enlist or wait for the draft… run away to Canada?
Jeremy just dried his hand on his slacks… they're going to start taking photos soon…
alt-vanlife again, opening lockers and stowing stuff in the bilge cause they're going to dress in orange survival suits and need more room…
the wires (umbilicals) that wind everywhere have to be tamed… 4 Houdini couldn't get into these suits in this sloop's cabin… but they've practiced, right?
everybody needs to hit the head cause they're closing that up, too… forget how wastewater collection works in orange suits… are they the old orange suits or are these new design?
damn, IRL hope they get plenty of warning before emergency cause now Jeremy has to work with an IKEA seat… and the other 3 are now working on their seats… put suit on first then assemble seat or vicey versy?
wap cable got crunched by seat just now but capcom says they still have nominal connection… wap is access point for? ETH?
using stickies to anchor seat straps to bulkhead so the straps are out of the way, but. fake it til u make it… once in the ox suits straps might be hard to locate… forget whether they had help from ground crew when being seated for launch… otoh is this an ox suit test or reinstall seats test?
everytime somebody jolts the cabin's camera, you have to remember this is not Star Trek, the shields are still at 100%… sometimes the camera attached to solar panel outside fluctuates (why?) and makes the Orion's rear end throb for some reason… engine nozzle moves back and forth, too…
actually, guess those are footrests? not seats? probably fold back out of the way to open up center of cabin…
suiting up is more complex… 'comfort' attachments? then another layer then suit? all this accomplished off camera… wonder how long it would take to suit up esp in depressurization event…
"I wanna go home…"

two will practice donning suits at a rapid pace… voice of mcc says "seats" and she also says they will have to move around while connected to umbilicals in order to get into seats… imagine not all seats will be deployed for demo…
"Somebody secure those two blue pool toys immediately! almost lost an eye!"
Victor just put a pair of sneaks on a seat, so…
wonder what the ox team is doing at their console rn… just know that some wise guy will make a comedy reel from this footage… pressurized will add to sit… after leak checks, they're supposed to perform tasks while suited like eating and drinking… various tools obstructing cabin camera rn
glad they have a few more days to practice before re-entry…
at news conference, Frieling says rapid pace donning of ox suits took Wiseman and Glover 15 min which is okay because orion can slow leak to allow humans time to suit up… 144 hour limit (6 days) for suit depends on size of tank holding air…
lunar fly by starts at 1 pm EST tomorrow
