This is a very 'there are other things happening in the world' post but I purchased a new blender because our old one is 10+ years old and doesn't work very well anymore, and one of the pieces arrived with a fault where one part that is supposed to detach from another is stuck and the customer support person tried to lie to me and said it's not supposed to detach even though their own user manual shows it does
I didn't expect to me manipulated by customer support over a blender this Sunday but here we are
In a very weird update, the company sent me an email asking for a review on trustpilot (lol) so I wrote a 2 star review (hey, they asked) and the review has been flagged (presumably by the company) so now I have to sent proof to trustpilot that my review is genuine. And now it's pretty clear why they have hardly any bad reviews on trustpilot, they must just flag every review thats not 5 star and hope that most people can't be bothered to submit evidence to trustpilot
