Chugging along on my #StargateSGU binge. I really like Colonel Everett Young played by #LouisFerreira. I loved seeing him stand up to his military leaders and when all was lost he took himself out of the lottery for the escape vehicle. He's a good man and a kick ass leader. I'd follow him! #RepresentationMatters

@TheNovemberMan right?! Sci-fi tv has the best leaders. I feel like business schools should study shows like this. Instead of focusing on making money above all else, leaders should be about their people. Treat your people right and they'll gladly work hard for you and you'll make the money and keep talent in the co. Sadly it's so rare that leaders are great IRL. They've usually got all the wrong priorities.

@Phangurl 👍👍 Yeah, if I had a nickel for every crappy Air Force Space officer whos eye was completely off the ball . . .
There was an overwhelming culture of leaders who wanted all the perks of being in charge but accepted none of the responsibility. Very few Jack O'Neils or Colonel Youngs. I don't miss it at all.
