I literally just boosted this but the album title sorta buries the lede: this album captures versions of Philip Glass' "Glassworks" and Steve Reich's "Variations for Winds, Strings and Keyboards" performed on accordion and modular synth. Like, omg, I might just listen to this all day on repeat. Thanks, c_reider!

@AccordionBruce this 👆 seems up your alley

We haven’t got that one yet

But added to our #AccordionBandcamp recommendations

And the $10,000 #accordion wishlist I’ve got on my #bandcamp account

I write artists asking for music to play on @accordionnoir radio but even that is overwhelming 🌊 🪗😓

@AccordionBruce Maybe I'll tone down the "hey an accordion!" flagging. I'm glad there's so much good material that it's in abundance, and hope it doesn't swamp you toooo much

@datum
No no, @nicheinterests and I used to boost every organic mention of the #accordion on the other site

Personally filtering tens of thousands of bots pushing accordion blinds, doors, books, and any number of other non-musical uses

Making #AccordionMastodon a thing has been a goal since we arrived

It’s started to pick up lately

There’s still far fewer players promoting or talking about their work

@anja is an inspiring exception we met here 🪗

Thanks for sharing that track! Very aqua-atmospheric, like scuba exploring a semi-submerged wreck that creaks in the swell.

Accordion Noir radio playlist 2025-10-29: Squeeze into the Long Nights (Drone Accordion V)

Long time coming gathering works for another episode of drone, experimental and noisy squeezebox to stretch your listening ears! This is a fine set of tones indeed as we did four years in the past …
