The Merge has ended!
It has been a full year since we opened the Merge, allowing users to migrate their $KUJI and some of the ecosystem tokens from Kujira to our new home on THORChain and merge them into $RUJI.
With the Merge now ended, here’s what this means for you 🧵👇
First, the Merge deadline.
Now that it has passed, you can no longer convert your tokens into RUJI, and there are no bonus tokens left to distribute.
For users with RUJI in the Merge contract, you can now start withdrawing your RUJI, as all rewards have been distributed.
To withdraw your RUJI, visit the merge page:

Click “Withdraw” and withdraw the full amount on the merge page.
The Merge contract remains open for withdrawals indefinitely, so there is no deadline to withdraw your assets.
RUJI is designed as the fee-sharing token of the Rujira ecosystem. Activity across any of the products, whether it is Perps or on our orderbook, generates revenue, which is then split between RUJI stakers and THORChain.
The more products and activity, the higher the rewards.
The distribution of staking rewards has not started yet. This requires a bit more work on our side to get it properly set up, and we will begin this once more revenue-generating products are deployed.
But you can already start staking your $RUJI so that you are ready from the beginning.

On the RUJI staking page, you have 2 options:
1. Auto-compound your RUJI and receive more RUJI over time with "Liquid Staking"
2. Claim rewards as USDC with "Account Staking"
Auto-compound RUJI with Liquid Staking.
Choose the left option, Liquid Staking, if you want your RUJI position to grow automatically over time once staking rewards begin distribution.
Claim rewards as USDC with Account Staking.
Choose the right option, Account Staking, if you want to claim future rewards as USDC manually whenever you want by selecting Claim Manually.
You can also automate claiming of USDC with AutoRujira.
Select the Automate Rewards option if you want future rewards to be claimed automatically as USDC or other assets, without needing to claim them manually yourself.
