I don't think “emboldened" is the right word for this obscene and racist tirade. Perhaps one or more of the following:

Frenzied.
Violent.
Frustrated.
Enraged.
Berserk.

The Times doesn't know what to say about “Praise be to Allah," so it says nothing.

@gleick did Trump say "praise be to Allah"? 👀

Edit: yes he did, and a whole other lot of swearing aggressive unhinged stuff, see "truth"Social post linked in this post from @jalefkowit :

wow.. surely that kind of language is grounds for invoking the amendment about the president having impaired decision-making?

But the GOP only considers impeachment on important and critical issues, like when President Clinton lied on the stand about an affair.
@stargazersmith @gleick @jalefkowit
Yeah, this whole thing - Trump being in power and breaking every promise, contracts, laws his country has made, destroying the planet, threatening allies, propping up dictators and wreacking havoc in the global economy, while enriching his close family and friends, is definitely a clear demonstration that the US's legal and governmental system is completely dysfunctional. This shouldn't be possible in a normal, democratic country. Why is congress not acting?
@elduvelle @stargazersmith @jalefkowit Because Congress is controlled by Republicans, paid for by the new oligarch class that also created Trump.
