Shelley Duvall was put on this earth for one reason, to act in this movie. No performance has ever captured the essence of a character so completely before or since.

Everyone goes hard in this movie. A rare example of a nothing project that turns into tour de force act. It’s as if it was sculpted out of coke or something.

My family owned this movie on VHS. I grew up watching it multiple times a year. I’m really quite fond of it. I was shocked as an adult when I looked up reviews of it on RT to see how poorly it was received.
