Maybe you already know about this scam. Caller center dude pretends to "confirm" your Uber Eats order, then asks too many questions about your account to try to ultimately steal your credit card. #scam

According to several Reddit threads, the scam has been going on for months, and Uber does not realize they got a problem.

@hdunagan The problem is not Uber. The problem is people who are so hungry for their hot wings and fries, that their gullible nature is multiplied by stupidity cubed.

@hdunagan not any more so than PT Barnum when he said 'there's a sucker born every minute.' As long as there is an audience willing to give up personal information, there will be scammers lining up to steal their money.
