I've always wondered if you can capture that "whistle and you'll be very worried, what's that at the window, oh dear" feeling about MR James in an RPG (except outside of a very specific player group)
@Printdevil @strangequark Casting the Runes does a good job of building mechanics for that - or rather a lot of advice for crafting a Jamesian ghost story in scenario form
I have that - I was just wondering how it played. I never quite had the exact group I think would have bought into it.
