I don't know if it's "social media brain rot" or people have just lost comprehension skills but I've noticed this a lot over the years...

Most of the comments on a business post tend to be questions that are answered in the post. Some people tend to be in such a hurry to comment after a quick scan they don't stop to thoroughly read. Those people tend to be the only ones to comment.

*Addendum : Also, in this "pie sale" scenario, there is guaranteed to be at least one person to make an unreasonable request of the business, like they live and hour and a half away and want the pies delivered. So, they will have to add "In Person Only" to the next flyer.
Social Media only makes sense if you assume the other "users" are eally just bots.
I've seen people I personally know leave comments like this. I left them all behind when I abandoned Facebook.
@Technauseated I see street interviews all the time of basic knowledge, a 5th grader should know, like "which continent is the Mexico in?" and they will say North America.
Or "Who was the first president?" And they will say Lincoln or Franklin.
I am not impressed with our education system. Not all are bad, but most struggle.
It seems like they are taught what to think, and not how.🤷
It is definitely not just America. Sometimes they just interview the average idiot on the street. I've seen these same type of interviews in the UK and they manage to find the slowest people. They also don't tend to show the videos of people getting things correct. If someone walked up to me with a mic and a camera, I'd politely decline. I wouldn't want to embarrass myself by not remembering something under pressure or be asked my political or religious views that I keep to myself.
This video kills me. He was biting his tongue. https://youtube.com/shorts/owXPefYw76k?si=9wEwcFm2mFfTqR67
