See, the thing with the 'punching up, though!' mentality, is if you're justifying making fun of disabled people, or bodyshaming, then what you're saying is 'so long as I see myself as the underdog, I can get away with whatever I want'

@DarkestKale Yeah , it really is a disgusting and cruel approach. There's so many other ways to punch up that don't just use the veneer of it to excuse behavior that harms others in the process.
It reveals so much about the speaker.
