Ukrainian drones damage oil pipeline near Russian port and spark fire at refinery

Ukrainian drones struck Russia’s Leningrad and Nizhny Novgorod regions overnight on April 5, regional governors reported. Air defenses shot down 19 drones over the Leningrad region, Governor Alexander Drozdenko said. Debris from the drones damaged a section of an oil pipeline near the port of Primorsk, he added, with no injuries reported. “Safe burnoff from the shut-off pipe is underway,” he said.
