Seen in Seattle today. We're going to see $10/gallon before this is over. I guarantee it.
FYI, in Finland the typical price is currently about 2 β¬ per litre of benzin ("regular"). One gallon is 3.785 litres, meaning that we are paying about 8 $ per gallon of benzin here.
The cheapest anywhere in Finland is 1.879 β¬/l, the most expensive is 2.259 β¬/l β or in $/gal: 9.85.
For diesel the typical price is about 2.3 β¬/l, minimum today is 2.227, maximum observed has been 2.489. Or, 10.48 $/gal.
So, you're getting closer to Finnish prices, which _is_ surprising!
