Crystal Andrews, Bernard Keane, and Alex Fein (RedBridge polling)

They are talking about how Gen X have a memory of life before wholesale privatisation.

Alex Fein in particular has some striking things to about how the capital class who have assets, and the gap to those who don't.

@troberts Very interesting. Although I'm surprised she thinks private health insurance is a life and death commodity that some can't afford! (We have none, but could have afforded it.)

@sister_ratched I think I missed that comment.

She mentioned talking to teachers and nurses who needed a second job to get by, and people sleeping in cars. So I got the impression that she was talking about people who the social contract had failed in a substantial manner.
