@Karstan do you go to 19th, or terwilliger? The Custer, Brier, Chestnut route is longer but maybe nicer. Barbur at 19th is so narrow, there's no room for bike lanes (only five car lanes)
@enobacon Terwilliger. You know, I never thought of taking the Custer route for some reason. Probably because it *is* a bit longer. But I mighr try it next time.
That said, the commute isn't the only reason I avoid going frequently. Grocery stores are a pretty miserable experience, Fred Meyer's and Safeway in particular. I desperately miss when Food Front was open. If I was close to People's or Food Fight, I think I'd hate it less.
