God this character is so annoying. Why did they feel the need to add a stupid teenager to a show about space travel?!!! (To be clear, smart sciencey teens like Wesley Crusher are awesome. I mean entitled whiny ones.) Ughhh...
I do have a headache but dang she's annoying. #StargateSGU
@Phangurl she gets better
@xerozohar oh good. Thank gawd. Thanks. This makes me happy. I do love to see character growth.
@Phangurl SGU suffers from First Season Syndrome in a few ways. Despite how much I love it I can't deny that
@xerozohar Thanks. A number of my favorite shows have that issue. Good reminder to keep watching.

@Phangurl in this one's case, somewhere along the production line (I'm not sure if it was executives or writers with poor ideas, I strongly suspect the former given Syfy channel's history), it was deemed necessary to darken and sexify the show to attract a younger audience. So that bleeds through all the good bits sadly. But does taper off. (and many relationships are actually Adult rather than "adult" as it goes on)

anyway I'll shut up

@xerozohar no, please don't. I really appreciate your insight. I wondered if it was a desire to lure in younger viewers. This would explain why the young male lead has sexy liaisons. 😆 And I love the adult distinction! Brill.
@Phangurl imo it's worth dealing with the freshman issues because both seasons have some really great Science Fiction moments to offer, and a great cast of characters and actors to work with. Louis Ferreira and Robert Carlyle are superb, and the rest hold their own, especially David Blue.
@xerozohar sweet! I am enjoying it more and more as I binge it.
