I just discovered this "Continuous Audio Connection" setting in tvOS 26.4 for audio on my Apple TV 4Ks. I have a Sonos Arc in my bedroom and it has had issues with the Apple TV 4K for a while -- forcing me to go into the Sonos app to switch the input to the Apple TV. This new setting is supposed to fix these problems. I'll see how it goes.
