I'm no longer in the pre diabetes range, hooray!
On the other hand... We discovered I had a rare reaction to my monthly hormonal injection. It decreased my HDL and it didn't play well with my liver. Studies seem to indicate it's not permanent damage if I discontinue its use, so...
We're all baffled that my gynecologist didn't think about monitoring me more closely. Needless to say, I'm switching doctors (and birth control methods) after that.
Good news: I'm starting to feel less fatigued! Literature says my liver will recover in a couple of weeks.
Today I started feeling stronger at the gym again. For 2 months or so, I'd feel like I'd pass out midway through my exercise sessions.
The more I recover from the whole ordeal with my liver, the more I realize how much it was affecting my life. That level of exhaustion wasn't normal, and I kept hoping it would go away for some reason?
