The #asparagus has officially survived the hard winter. 🤗

My mom agreed to attempt growing asparagus from seed since buying crowns is so expensive. We have tried it ourselves before, but never had any luck. With my mom's fantastic seed starting setup, it has finally been a success.

The asparagus has now survived its first winter in a cold frame. Mom never attempted asparagus before, because she doesn't have the space for the full grown plants anyway, but we do! Next year, these plants will get moved to our property and then we can share the bounty every spring. Teamwork! 🌱
