It is time to replace my 2017 Intel MacBook Pro. There are now too many models to choose from. :|

Probably a 14" or 16" M5 Pro. I have a 16" M1 Max at work so I don't really consider 16" cumbersome.

Any takes on the standard glossy vs nano-texture display options? It seems the downsides of the latter are:
- Special cleaning considerations?
- More sensitive to viewing angle?

@psyolus The glossy display isn’t really noticeable unless you’ve got a window or light shining directly onto it from behind you. Nano-texture display loses some color accuracy/vibrance, but I believe they resolved the “needs special care” requirement of the original XDR display.

@psyolus work got me the nano textured one and honestly I haven’t had any issues with viewing angle.
