Google released Gemma 4 on Thursday. It is already in Perspective Intelligence and I have been testing it.

It is a thinking model. It reasons through your question before it responds and you can feel the difference in the output. I have been using it with our tools and it works really well. I think it is one of the best models you can run on your phone right now.

To find it go to Settings > AI Models > Standard On-Device > Experimental > Gemma 4 E2B. Download and go. (1/2)

We are one of the first apps to support it. All our other models are still there too including Apple Foundation Models. Nothing leaves your device.
