So yeah… Ricardo Gray, who plays the disabled son Nicholas, is not actually disabled. The role was originally written for an actor who has Down Syndrome but they had to drop out & instead of completely rewriting the character they went with this🫤

If this seems particularly slapped together it’s b/c they had to reshuffle the cast after production began due to the original actor for the POS boyfriend being fired due to addiction & onset behavioral issues. So the guy playing the pedo was promoted to boyfriend. This is IN ADDITION when the original actor playing the son left the production as well. Apparently all of this barely pushed production back
