I am feeling a tid bit overwhelmed with patches for the last couple of month, and wanted to see if I am imagining things on hard numbers.

The patches actually look normal-ish. But the number of bug reports is indeed larger. So, I am not loosing my mind and there is really more stuff to do.

@yantar92 I think "more staff" is a very optimistic Freudian slip, and you actually meant "more stuff". :(

@oantolin Hmm. Yeah, we need more staff :) I plan to do a call for volunteers some time in the future. We need to revive the idea of contributor stewards. Otherwise, I cannot get free time to work on something other than bugs and patches. (e.g. refactoring or new features are all on hold now).

@yantar92 @oantolin Has your experience with "contributor stewards" been written down somewhere? I have heard about it and wondered if it would make sense for core development as well.

@yantar92 There is a corpus of ten or fifteen years of good work that I would not have been able to do without Org mode. More good work to do. Thanks so much! (Also to @bzg and many others!)
