NB: Drove past Wentworth Falls the other day. Lincoln's Rock is still closed.

If it wasn't closed, I'd ride my mobility scooter to the rock (it's really that easy to get to) and just hang out near the edge. Nothing spoils the 'merrily risking your life in an inaccessible place' photo like some old fart on a granny scooter photobombing that tourist shot.

I feel that. I grew up in the late 90s and used to occasionally go there with a small group of friends. It’s pretty, but the best things were how accessible yet peaceful it was. Though the car wrecks at the bottom of the cliff were a sure sign it wasn’t always that way, ha.

We never thought it would attract the hoards. They had Katoomba, or Wentworth Falls to go to, so it felt like a place that was ours, enough for us to make memories at…

I’m going to explore an old haunt near Lawson today. I think it’s still safe. Probably tired and overgrown tbh. 🤞
