Here is the result of this year's egg dyeing. The ones in the carton were boiled in onion skins (with stockings to hold them on). The 5 purple eggs were boiled in red grape juice and left for a week. I had to wipe off a lot of sediment. The rest were hard boiled and then put in dye for a week.The 6 dark blue eggs are red cabbage (one of which was in a stocking with onion skins for a stained-glass window effect). 2 yellow turmeric and 3 brownish-orange cayenne.
