@sacha Thank you for this. I agree that it is a mistake not to ask for help early and it is even more useful (and brave) to ask for help in public.

At work I’ve become the ”database guy” which means that coworkers often DM me for help with tricky queries and I always nudge them to post in the group chat instead because asking in public builds both community and a shared body of knowledge while it reduces imposture syndrome.
