I see your point but I guess part of me really wants to see evidence that more of the maga cult has come to their senses. 84% still being willing to vote for him again damages my view of my fellow americans even more.

That’s just because of the stupid way elections work IN USA, not because there has been a massive change in the opinion of the population. Theoretically you can get ALL the seats in congress with 51% of the vote, if they are distributed right.
