There is almost no one making the argument that "nothing good can ever come from AI, in any form".
There are plenty of people going:
- "The productivity gains you are seeing from AI, are often psychologically induced confirmation biases; and even when they are not they are not worth the massive systemic toxicity of regular usage of this in your field. Alongside the massive costs outside your field."
AND:
- "This shit is fundamentally toxic to the idea of craftsmanship/artistry in every act of creation which even has a shred of creativity. That seems bad for your human soul, and I refuse to value the products of that process like they are the output of actual human creativity and ingenuity."
If you are saying that is the equivalent of "nothing good can ever come from AI". You are just revealing how small of a needle you are trying to thread as you opine on the good/legitimate uses.
