Iam on grapheneos ,so we wait and see .
@atropa I dont yet have #GrapheneOS yet. Gotta save up to get an #AbovePhone since I dont have a computer right now (so, can't buy #oemunlocked Pixel to flash the OS myself). But, I'm using my production phone to learn the Fediverse and FOSS ecosystem. It's a process.

Only you determine the direction and speed of your journey in the open source and fediverse.

Probably from the end of this year you will be able to install graphene on some motorola phones, both have signed an agreement.

In 2012 I started to take small steps towards linux, a few years later I only use linux.

Last year fully dedicated to degoogling, daughter has all pixel phone overwritten with graphene and a motorola with lineage software..

All apps are Foss except bank.

For 4 months I have been reading up on off grid communication namely meshcore and reticulum, I hope to do a test by the end of this year

So take your time and read a lot, enjoy your trip. Don’t be afraid to fail, best school.

This is the best advice I'm glad to have gotten early on (and a great reminder). I was initially disheartened because I've been googled since '07 (technically since the Google Video days pre-YT.) But, having learned quite a lot about infosec, it's kind of like the old adage 'The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is now.'
