@SheDrivesMobility @derfreitag i teach highschool physics and show the students a photo of cats warming on a hood of a car. I ask them if you spend 100€ on gas, how much of it would you accept to be used on heating for cats? There was one student that wanted to give all 100€ to cats, but most want to give most 10-15€ and are astonished to find out that most of the money one pays for gas in essence goes to warming cats.

As a building physics we often need to consider the temperature in a garage below a building. Until now we always assumed temperatures between 5 - 10 C due to heating contribution of fossile cars.

As Norway now goes 100% electric for new cars I expect that we need to do a little more research in the future.
