@brittanytrang It's incredible that they would think an LLM could do this work. Can an LLM call someone to interview them? Can it go outside to meet people and ask them questions?

@RachelThornSub The original idea, I believe, was that it would summarize press releases and public meetings, which could conceivably be a value-add.

But I, a journalist with a PhD, often have trouble parsing out what people are ACTUALLY saying in a press release. I would love an AI that could, but doubt its ability.

And AI tends toward summarizing the average of a meeting, rather than the one alarming sentence that indicates a problem brewing beneath the surface, which journos would suss out.
