"Labour ministers & MPs have reassured #Starmer that they strongly back his approach of staying calm in the face of #Trump’s anger & insults - with some believing his handling of the #war & the #US president strengthens the case for him to remain #leader, regardless of the outcome at the local #elections next month." If Starmer stays #Labour Leader & PM, the #LabourParty is, most assuredly, DOOMED! (It's doomed anyway - but keeping him will be SUICIDE!)

@rmblaber1956 what pisses me off is the attacks on the Greens during the Manchester elections, claiming they were going to give everyone free heroin and other bullshit. It seemed like the same tactics Reform use.

I've been a Labour supporter since age 18 - but it is increasingly likely I am going to vote Green (especially as it seems the party are realising they have to be more realistic about the timescale for completely banning petrol/diesel vehicles (whilst not abandoning this altogether, its probably feasible for 2045-2050)

@vfrmedia Did you see the #article in @TheGuardian by the new Gorton & Denton #Green MP, Hannah Spencer, https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/apr/03/weeks-green-mp-politicians-clue-cost-living-labour. I think it's brilliant. I think SHE'S brilliant!
What I learned from my first few weeks as a Green MP? Most politicians have no clue how tough things are out there

With this escalating cost of living crisis, so many are really suffering – yet Labour lacks the imagination, boldness and will to do anything about it, says Green party MP Hannah Spencer

@rmblaber1956 @TheGuardian

I hope the Green Party can accept more like her (I've known a few of the Greens in my region, they are good folk but even they were sometimes out of touch with ordinary folk and/or lived in the posher suburbs of Suffolk (especially Mid and East Suffolk, wherr they are popular)

@vfrmedia @TheGuardian The more people like Hannah Spencer there are in @thegreenparty, the better. There's no disputing HER working-class credentials!
