No, I don't know what a rabbit is, nor do I care.

Just stretch out your arms and tell the Cassowary to stay calm. Always works!

No, you tell the fucking cassowary what to do. I’m headed in the other direction.

Those aren’t the eggs I’m looking for.

However, could you assist me in locating a ham?

every time i see one of those birds, i think of how far cry 3 made me passionately hate them

Cassowary killed my colonist!

(Rimworld not colonialism, ew)

TIL cassowary eggs are vibrant green.
Same, those are crazy looking!
I wonder at which point ‘where did I leave my eggs?’ becomes a greater evolutionary pressure than ‘I need to hide my eggs’, because I’m assuming cassowaries haven’t had to worry about the latter for a while!

All (chicken, at least…probably other species too) eggs start out white…but pigments get added near the end of the egg development process.

That’s how my girls have eggs in many different colors.

Stupid birb, poops its green eggs on brown floor.
When you’re a fucking dinosaur who’ll rip someone’s guts out, you don’t care
I got green ham too.

I couldn’t find a better picture of the “hats”.

Whoever took this picture is lucky to be alive. Cassowaries are incredibly dangerous
You stare at her, and she just stares right back. And that’s when the attack comes. Not from the front, but from the side.

My favorite bird of all time!

BIRD FACT: The name Cassowary is derived from the Papuan kasu weri, which translates to ‘horned head’.

When I first saw this very small picture (in my vision of it, by my current means), I thought I saw a Mantis on the green neck of some other creature. I had to handle the means to scrutize the pic and see what it was. That tree to feather coincidence of angel photography came off as an AI before I understood what the pic was really of.

I also just saw that Pink Mantis so it was your mentioning of the horns the lead me to even go that far into figuring it out at all.

Coincidence chain of coincidences, in deed.

Yeah, I completely missed the head for all the colours and wondered what eldritch horror I was looking at

Well this is a Science Com so I am going to explain it. A rabbit is a particle that is periodically generated as a form of radioactive decay by tophats.
THESE ARE NOT JOANNA EGGS!!!
