If I lived in the EU, I'd have pivoted my career by now to supporting the creation of publicly owned software and technical infrastructure, to wean the member states off U.S. tech. It's the only sensible thing for them to do.

@waldoj We're trying as a bloc, with some actively leading an @xodus_online of U.S. hegemony. The Germans in particular are making inroads to cutting State dependence on closed foreign platforms.

@brad Oh, I’ve been following the work! It’s very exciting. Germany’s Sovereign Tech Agency is a great model—I hope the EU creates the Sovereign Tech Fund.
